Lynn Colepaugh, founder of Cyber PR Army Solutions Inc.
Before I was running Cyber PR Army, I was on the road. Literally.
I was in a band with my husband, and I spent years in the back of vans, on stage and at merch tables, figuring out how to get people to show up, how to sell CDs, how to keep the lights on from one town to the next.
This was pre-Facebook, pre-Instagram. Marketing was posters stapled to poles, handshakes in a bar, and word of mouth that had to be earned the hard way. That’s where I learned the grit of communication… that at the end of the day, it’s not about algorithms, it’s about connection.
When the digital wave hit, I didn’t see it as something new. I saw it as the same old storytelling, just with different tools. I built websites, ran email lists, figured out search engines when no one else was paying attention, and eventually turned that into a business helping other people do the same.
Now, with Cyber PR Army, I help businesses cut through the noise the way I learned to cut through a crowded concert: with clarity, strategy, and a little bit of stubborn heart.
